How many baskets/buckets/totes/storage containers does one teacher need? I need a storage container for my storage containers. It’s a good thing I have a storage room. Ugh.
Oh my gosh I have that exact same problem!! I guess it is a teacher thing. It is so hard to pass up a good container when I see one but then I have stacks of them that I don't use! Crazy:)
Ha! Too funny! All of my empty containers are currently stacked (some what precariously) on top of my cubbies at school. I'm hoping that my custodians don't hit them in any way while cleaning this summer. lol!
You can't ever throw them away, because the minute you do- you'll find something to put in it! My storage closet at school has a whole top shelf of storage containers that I might need this year! It's an addiction!
I think that's part of the fun of being a teacher . . . we're always on the hunt for more containers, different containers, colorful containers, bigger containers, smaller containers . . . the list goes on. . . the more the MERRIER!
Call me an enabler, but this is not a problem, normal teacher behavior if you ask me! :) Besides the life span of some of these containers is so short, especially after a whole school year with kindergartners. The more the better.
Your problem is making me feel better about mine. I have an outrageous collection of containers too, but they are not that organized. :) Kimberly Funky First Grade Fun
If you have a problem, we all have problems. I have a whole shelf in my closet at school with all these little baskets. Then at home I have plastic shoeboxes stacked halfway to the ceiling and then there are the tops to deal with. I just can't get rid of any of them. Jennifer kindertrips
Honestly, is it possible for a teacher to have too many baskets and bins? Every time I think I have enough I run out again!! I am always on the hunt for cheap baskets! :)
We are also very creative in discovering things that we can use as containers...Crystal Light containers and film canisters are my favorite. I even have a book about 100+ ways to use film canisters. =)
uggg I have so many bins too!! I only use about half of them because I'm very picky about the colors matching. I really think I'm a hoarder of school supplies.
Btw, I have some things on my blog you may like and I'm doing a giveaway soon so make sure you join!
I really wish I had a storage room! I'm a storage container junkie too!
