Scarecrows

We had a change in our RTI groups a couple of weeks ago because of state testing, and many of our teachers that take groups had to work with testing our 3rd grade students.  (We are a K-3 school).  So….we split up our 2 kindergarten sections, and I was able to do some fun scarecrow activities!  Here are a few ideas that we did :

We read this book, and learned a finger play about 5 Black and Shiny Crows.

We created this fun flip book.  (I’m a little addicted to making these flip books now!)

We also read this book:

…and brainstormed all the different faces scarecrows could have…

…and then we made these adorable scarecrows!! DSCN4275DSCN4276DSCN4277

Thanks to Mrs. Lee for the great scarecrow ideas!
