For those of you that do community helpers as a theme, here are some math and literacy centers for you! I’ll TRY to post more throughout the week as I finish them!

ReplyDeleteI loved Sesame street growing up! MY favorite song was, "1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12". Then they played that awesome 70's kinda jazzy music as the ball rolled around the pin ball machine? Yes, no? Anyone? Like I said I really liked sesame street. Never missed it.

Next two weeks grocery store, local restaurant for lunch, library this week and maybe the post office (never know about there..they are not as friendly as I like! LOL)

I also love the 'classic Sesame Street' and use them whenever I can in the classroom. Thanks for the centers. They will fit perfectly with what we are doing now. I like how you included farmers. Makes this ND girl very happy!

Wow! This is a wonderful set of centers! Thank you! I take my kids on a trip around town. We went to a small grocery store called Trader Joes, the fire station and the library. We hope to mail a letter at the post office next year as well.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great set of centers for community helpers! Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us! We do this unit in the spring so I will definitely be getting these centers prepared soon so they are ready. As a special addition to our community helpers unit we have the local garbage company come visit us. They do a little presentation about safety around garbage trucks and then we go outside and kids get to learn about the truck. They love it!
