Music Monday–Brain Breaks!

My daughter's teacher shared this awesome group with me. My kiddos LOVE them! Check them out and try them in your classroom when spring fever kicks in! (or when the snow just won’t melt and are tired of winter)

And my kids can't get enough of the gummy bear song! We LOVE these dance along songs! 

(I think I sing it in my sleep!) What are your favorite brain break songs in the classroom?

    What perfect timing! I very look at my email during the day, but a nice drawn out show n tell made me do it. I saw your post and checked it out. My kids were antsy so we danced and danced. They just loved it! Thanks so much for the brain break!

    OMG the girls are gonna go crazy over these videos they LOVE dancing!! One that ive used recently is shake break: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zl5QodAFuVk Its quick but fun and I can play it like 5 times in a row! lol O and we also do the move your body one by Beyonce just the kid friendly version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wc_PizWNp6k

    But I do teach at an all girls school but there is a boy in the video!!

    Hi Kathleen,

    Last year we had our entire Primary School learn and perform Koo Koo Kanga Roo's Dinosaur Stomp... It was amazing seeing over 500 students, and the entire staff dancing out the front of the school.

    My kids are OBSESSED with the gummy bear song. They also loooove the Despicable Me dance video from Just Dance for Kids. I tried to get them into Hansen, but they weren't feeling it haha. Thanks for sharing the Koo Koo videos...those will come in handy during EOG week!
