December Calendar Songs…and a new blog!

So sorry this is so late!  I’m still recovering from my vacation and we had report cards due today! To top it all off hubby is out of town on business for 2 weeks! Thank goodness he gets to come home on the weekends.

But, before I share the goodies with you, I want to introduce you to a new blog!!! This blog is written by one of my fabulous kindergarten friends.  I am so lucky to be able to call her my friend – she is amazing, guys!  She has such a kind heart and is a fantastic teacher.

So, stop on by to Live, Laugh Love K and say hi to my friend, Sheyna.  While you’re there click that little follow button, and leave her a comment, okay?  It will make her (and me!) ever so happy!

Last month, I shared with you some of the lines that did not make it…this time I was rhyming with cheer…..and ending up with beer….. hmmmm…..

And the calendar book pages:

  12. HOORAY!!!!! We absolutely LOVE to sing your songs during calendar every day. My students softly sing the songs throughout the day while they are working. Thank you so much for your generosity. I wish you a wonderful month of December and a delightfully Merry Christmas.

  13. The temperature tally is from the Everyday math program -- the thermometer is broken down into colors, and we just tally the "color" after we find the temp on the thermometer. It's so funny when they finally get to tally a white -- they get SOOOOO excited -- not me though, since that is below zero!!!

  36. I made up my own December calendar song to "Jingle Bells" before I saw this! :) Mine goes:

    December
    D-E-C E-M-B-E-R
    Light the tree
    For you and me
And watch the falling snow -- ow!

Then we just repeat it again :)
    My kids LOVE IT!
I think I used your October song as well and my kids are STILL wanting to sing it. haha
I must have missed the November song post because I didn't have a spelling song for the month and I think my kiddos might have been mad at me haha
